Poem

A tale that started long ago,

Of a man with divine powers. 

Of indomitable will, that came from within 

Of courage and valour knowing no boundaries

Of strength to win the entire world.

And a charming smile averring to generosity.

The tale… of every soldier, of the real heroes.

Known to some,

Forgotten by everyone else. 

And a tale,

Of a woman with mesmerizing beauty

Of the sacrifice, laid at every step

Of the loneliness, at every evening

Of the strong character, suffering every tear drop

Of the faith, greater than any priest in the world

And of love winning every heart

The tale of every soldier’s wife

Of the real heroines

Known to none. 

Both tales still exist together,

In every land, in every Terrence

Although not a fairy tale,

But these heroes and heroines

Make the sweetest story ever.
