VENUS:- Hey mars!What are you sad about?
MARS:- I 'm concerned about the Earth,these days she has become much quiet.
VENUS:- Really??Come lets go and talk to her.
(Both of them go to talk to the Earth)
MARS:- Earth,where are you?We need to talk to you.
EARTH:-Mars,I'm not well,you please let me have some rest.
VENUS:-Earth,let us know what are you going through?
(Earth comes with the tears in her eyes)
MARS:-What happened?please tell.
EARTH:-I'm in danger.My children overuse my resouces.They do not understand that if today they will use
all the resources for their own needs,there future generations will have to suffer.
MARS:-But why are they doing so?
EARTH:-Mars,the population of humans upon me is increasing day by day which is ultimately leading to increase in consumption for which the trees are being destroyed.And by destroying woods humans provide shelter to themselves.They are also constructing industries and factories which emit carbon dioxide and that affect trees and forest.
VENUS:-Is this the only reason for destroying harmony in the environment?
EARTH:-No Venus! Urbanization as well is the cause.Trees are being cut down for the building materials.
MARS:-Earth,but why are you feeling concerned,humans are making the better use of resouces provided by environment.
EARTH:-Dear Mars,resouces are being overused and they will ultimately harm the coming generation.
VENUS:-But how?
EARTH:-If human cut trees,they won't be able to get oxygen which will cause them difficulty in breathing.Lack of trees,allows greater amount of greenhouse gases to be realeased in the atmosphere.The concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increases my temperature.Not only this,but imbalance in the environment leads to increase in soil erosion which can lead to unnatural floods and droughts.
MARS:-Earth,what I think is humans are rational to think for themselves.They will protect the environment if they love their life.
EARTH:-Dear,humans are not just harming their own life,but are also disturbing other animals.Millions
of species loss their habitat because of deforestation.Removal of trees and vegetation reduces availability of food,shelter and breeding habitat.Not just this,Animals encounter dangerous situations when they attempt to migrate in the non forest area.They experience poaching and other threats.
(Earth stopped speaking after she saw that humans have been listening to their conversation)
HUMANS:-(With the tears of apology)We are sorry mother Earth.We have been harming the whole ecosystem.
EARTH:-My children please do not ask me for the apology.If you want a healthy life for you and your coming generations then preserve the ecosystem.
HUMANS:-But how?
EARTH:-Adopt green methods of production.Reduce,Reuse and Recycle.Go for Eco forestry,Implement laws and regulations at government and organizational levels to preserve the natural vegetation.People can join hands together to plant trees occassionally.
HUMANS:-Thank you mother Earth,you opened our eyes.We will protect the environment and grow more trees.
